And those who forget fall ill first. Some died vomiting blood at night. Some choked on their own reflections in mirrors. Some vanished with a scream—his voice never ceased. The city emptied; not silence, but whispers. The doctor wandered through all the streets alone. With every step, he changed a little. His hand trembled, his mask cracked, his eyes darkened. His mask hides not a face, but a forgotten scream. With every step, the echoes of the past awaken, and silenced hearts beat again. And the wind carries not his name, but the silence he left behind. For the Plague Doctor is no longer a person—he is a wound opened by time. It does not heal. It does not speak. But each night he draws closer.
